Why did my contacts get an alert when I was fine?

Your phone didn't record any activity for longer than your inactivity setting, and the check-in notification wasn't answered in time. This can happen if your phone was left somewhere, turned off, or had Low Power Mode on. You can lengthen your settings, or pause monitoring before trips.

My contact still shows "waiting to accept".

They need to open your invitation link, tap Accept, and send the confirmation text from the invited phone number within 15 minutes. If the link has expired, share a new one from the app.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings and tap Delete Account. See the privacy policy for what's removed.
